Roofs & Dormers
All Pleasant Valley Homes come standard with engineered and tested roof trusses, 16” on-center. Each roof system is built to a 100-pound-ground-snow load and fastened to a 90-mile-per-hour wind exposure rating. All roofs are built with front, rear and gable overhangs attached (not shipped loose). Attic storage areas can be accessed with either pull-down stairs or walk-up stairs. Habitable spaces are accessed by code-compliant stairs.
